Biography

Carolyn is a Sussex based artist who initially trained and worked professionally as a Graphic Designer in London.

Whilst studying Fine Art (BA Hons 2009-13) Carolyn mastered the processes of mono printing, etching and woodcut, alongside her favoured medium of oil painting. As well as selling locally, Carolyn has buyers in Bristol, Southampton and Brighton and two of her large scale works are on permanent display in St Richards Hospital, Chichester.

Artist Statement

My current interest lies in the use of paint, colour and composition to explore ideas around the figure in landscape, with particular reference to the local population and seascape of West Sussex.
